When a photographer presses the shutter, the process of Mental Synthesis goes through his mind. It is a process of mentally planning, modelling and choreographing of the image that is about to be produced.
Mental synthesis is a key component of what we commonly call ‘imagination,’ along with other components such as simple memory recall, spontaneous insight, dreaming, and hallucination. It is the synchronization mechanism of mental synthesis that holds the unique human trait for the output of an imaginative, expressive and creative image.
Regardless of what technique used, it is the process of Mental Synthesis that expresses the profound meaning from the image.
“Mental Synthesis” is the culmination of the minds of 9 photo-creators evolving through levels of creative imagination and seeing through the unseen.
